Thanks for the info, I am still not there yet. I created a combo box class called comboi and add two properties NewDblClick & OldDblClick. I wasn't able
to create one called dblClick since it already existed. I added the code as
you suggested in the GotFocus and LostFocus. In Init I also added NewDblClick=3.5.

In the init section of my form I set the NewDblClick = 5.5.

If I type in the complete Item correctly it is displayed in my combo box and
if I use the scroll down tab it shows the right item hilighted. But I still can
not get the incremental search working. When I scroll down I still can only input one character.
