I'm just stating personal preference for a feature.
The only person I'm calling a dunce is you. How many times can one person yell "auto-spanning"!!!!!
Doesn't mean squat to the vast majority of developers. As the numbers have shown millions of dotnet developers to tens of thousands of VFP. And as i've stated I have yet to hear in any meeting the topic of how to access data brought up.
I truly don't think that the driving motivation for LINQ is an inadequate language feature. I think it's more of an idea to add a feature that will diffentiate Dotnet and Java.
