>>I think it's a fine thing that our children are being taught about other races and religions, helps foster tolerance and understanding in these troubled times.

>sure.. here at my church, on our bible's class, we take a deep study in many others religions.. Not on the vision that we are on the good faction and they are on the bad one.. But, to take a clear vision enough to produce that so important tolerance..

>>Last night my daughters were telling me all about muslims. They demonstrated the 4 stages of getting down to prayer: the stances and meanings of each action - stuff i didn't know. They correctly answered all my questions, such as "And which direction do you face?". Most impressive. Then I asked my elder to demonstrate how a Catholic genuflects on enetering a church. "I dunNO!" she answered.

That's all very well but, as most people don't have the urge to go to church nowadays, maybe they should get just as much a grounding in Christianities principles, rituals, symbols, etc., even as an impartial observance, just as much as in the others. It's like many of us go all over the world on holiday, yet never visit some of the wonders within only a few miles from where we live.
- Whoever said that women are the weaker sex never tried to wrest the bedclothes off one in the middle of the night
- Worry is the interest you pay, in advance, for a loan that you may never need to take out.
