OTOH, there is good news. Other languages will jump .NET and in time will develop a more sensible approach of modern programming. Can I frame this, and come back to it a few years from now to find out if this was prophetic? <s>
Walter, there are too many enhancements that have been done with the .NET language (and many more are being done in C# 3.0 and VB9) to mention. I'm trying to avoid personal comments here, but that line is just plain silly. Please download the CTP and start studying it yourself and stop relying on 2nd-hand information. I said it a few weeks ago - if you continue to wait for both Godot and a genetic match of what you're looking for, odds are good you'll find yourself behind. And you may actually be behind NOW, and not fully realize it.
By the way, I worked with Navision last year. For contractual reasons I cannot discuss too many specifics, but it is not without its own set of challenges and maintenance issues.
