Wake Forest is 20-30 minutes from High Point (to the northwest) and I am 30 minutes from High Point in the opposite direction (almost straight east). Greensboro is northeast of High Point. Many people live in Winston Salem and work in High Point and vice versa. Wake Forest is a great school.

If you ever go to Winston Salem to visit your friends, let me know. We can meetup. As a single parent, I never get the opportunity to meet the online folks. There are many other Foxpro developers around here and I've only met the ones I work with. Lots of net folks though. There are some pretty popular dotnet meetings I've just started attending in the area. That is something that was never available in Fayetteville (2.5 hours to the south).

OK, thanks, yeah, that'd be cool. I'm not sure when I'll be in Winston Salem again, but recently I was asked to speak somewhere in NC this summmer, either at a .NET User's Group or a SQL User's Group (how's that for being prepared, I don't even remember details). If I had any brains, I'd drive from there down to Calabash and eat all the seafood in sight!

Yes, Wake is a great school, no question. I see there are about 8 Mellow Mushroom places in NC (MM is my favorite pizza place of all time). ;)
