The VFPX open source project on CodePlex is designed to create add-ons and tools VFP developers can use to develop custom solutions for their customers. The mission of VFPX is to extend Visual FoxPro by creating open source add-ons and to complement Microsoft’s efforts to improve and extend VFP via Sedna (code name for the next version of VFP).

This session will introduce VFP developers to VFPX on Codeplex, and will demonstrate and show real world implementations of the various components and tools developed and under construction in VFPX. At the end of the session you can learn how you can get involved in the future of Visual FoxPro and why it is important to you as a VFP developer.

- Open discussion and the other normal chatter of tips and tricks.
- Anything else people want to talk about.

DAFUG meets on the third Thursday of the month (except for July). Free parking is available in farmers market parking lot.

Admission to DAFUG meetings will be granted free to anyone for 1 (one) meeting. After that you must either join the group (at the low cost of $30 a year, $15 for a half year) or you will be asked to pay $5 per meeting you attend. The $5 will grant you admission but no other rights or privileges of membership.
