But this is all old news to everyone. So (a) why keep going on about the diminishing VFP developer pool, (b) what harm in showing ones support for a great product, (c) the people that have chosen to stick with VFP are presumably doing so for a variety of reasons, most I suspect probably to do with business reasons like many of the business owners on this forum, and (d) sticking with VFP does not mean they are not learning other technologies, or are able to learn other technologies, just because they don't bleat about it all the time.

>I'm not staying here to berate anyone. I still do Fox stuff, and it helps to have poeple like Kevin and Bonnie to answer dotnet questions.

>But I can't help in this case to answer. Rick S. answered a question today by mentioning how the bottom dropped out of the xBase market in the 90s. Almost no new developers brought in. And lots leaving. When Clipper and dBase disappeared I didn't see too many people show up here as new VFP people. So they moved on to other tools.

>Basically, this market is extremely small compared to other tools. And it's an absolute waste of time to create petitions, yell at YAG, etc.

>>Its funny how people who have moved on still hang around in this VFP forum berating those who have stayed behind. Why can't those who have moved on, move on already. What difference does it make to those who have moved on what those who are still here do. I prefer your political posts :)
