Well, if supposing foxpro is the best tool then I can suggest it and explain to the client the possible problems that could happen later on in the future, if he decides to go with something else probably it's going to cost him more for the same end result, actually might not be the same end result b/c his maintenance cost might go up too. The problem a lot of companies (especially small ones) don't need a huge hammer to drive a small nail, it's going to take more effort to lift that huge hammer and when it hits the nail it's going to make noise all the way to the customers pockets.
The one positive I will give this situation is that it will force me to diversify my skills which I had wanted to do for a while but was to busy to do, so now I have no choice.
