The funny thing is that I'm driven by some left hope. Hope that, all of a sudden out of the dark, a serious answer finds its way to us afterall, either to us here or, more likely, on Alan's blog. That he just needed some time to calm down, discuss it internally, put pressure on his superiors and formulate an adequate and authorized answer as to the WHYs. You may call it naive, I call it positive thinking.

If it, as you predict, won't come, in let's say one week, well, then that hope was in vain indeed. And your advices are heard, and appreciated, and probably worth to try.
