And don't forget, that if your tables get over 2gigs, you can't pull all the records down to a cursor anyway -- nor should you try. You have to get away from anything that depends on all records being in the cursor unless the table sizes are small enough to requery often to keep the data fresh -- and in that case, why move to SQL Server?
