Next I expect we'll see reference to the etcnologia compiler, which does *not* require a 64-bit rewrite of VFP or open-sourcing of its IP. Then people will review the reasons why VFP wasn't ported to NET (which simply means a compiler for IL, same as any other development tool) and there's a good story here for MS-bashers. Which is a shame, since MS has maintained VFP for a long time, certainly longer than I ever expected.
