I wasn't really talking about .NET per se, but the OS itself. .NET does as .Net will, but what really matters what happens in the core OS that could break VFP in this scenario.
There are a number of UI bugs in VFP now caused by Vista, and these are the kind of thing that could completely derail VFP. What I'm saying is that we're probably safe for a while given that Vista's codebase is probably not going to change that soon.
The big fear probably is that 64 bit really takes off and leaves 32 bit apps looking like Win32s <s>...
As to .NET - I'm sure there will be continual changes going forward as more and more infratstructure gets rolled into it. But that won't directly affect VFP unless there's truly a 'killer app' amongst those...
