The problem is that he assigns the tasks and gives estimates. In one instance he asked someone to write a business hours/days calculator in 3 hours.
This is funny: While he does all his work in teams (him talking the other workin) , when I requested that my work should be done in teams as well( the idea was to have him work on my team) he gave me this Seinfeld like line:
'You can work by yourself as a team. Now you are the lead, then you change into the dba and then into developer. It is actually easier this way'

lol.
