Hello all

We run SQL Server 2000 SE on the main production servers with SP4a installed. The tablets are running SQLServer PE 2000 also SP4a. The tablets are Fujitsu T 4215 units. The goal here is to allow the syncing of 42 tables by merge replication from the production server down to the tablets. There are 11 tables that will need to have the ability to move data back up to the server but I want to lock down the other 31 tables so they can not be changed in the field or at least not synced back to the production server. The user interface is a MS Access 2003 db front-end.

Can anyone point me how to lock down the other 31 tables and how to move data from 11 tables back to production server, I'm new to SQL Server DBA

Thanks,
