I found the same situation with Office 2007 on Windows XP. I'm using the Office 2003 on my pc instead of the Office 2007 on Xp on my laptop because I can't stand the fluff. Office is really slow on initial startup as well and pulling down email the first time. I have no patience. However, I really like OneNote!

>Quite true. But I'm being a bit facetious :) It looks ok. I got rid of the aero theme quickly as personally I find it too much. I switched off a lot of the fading in/out stuff and various other visual fluff. For the rest it runs ok. It came pre-installed on a new laptop with 2Gb ram and 2Ghz cpu Intel duo which we bought for a sales person in CT and for us to test our stuff on. Its ok but I will stick with XP on my laptop as it works very quick and efficient.
