Download CMrepair from the download section of UT. It is free. It should repair that type of problem.

>One of my clients had a new server installed on 12/31/06. It crashed on April 1 at 2 am. They have since learned that the tape backup hasn't worked properly since the new server was installed. There are .dbf, .fpt, and .cdx files remaining on the server. However, the application reports that the files can't be opened. The technician who is on site has transferred the main table to my server to see if I can recover any data for them. VFP 9 reports that the "dbf is not a table." I have worked almost exclusively with SQL data for many years now but remember that there used to be utilities to FoxPro repair tables. What one has the best chance of succeeding in this situation?
