I bought a new PC a year ago and got one that would run Vista on what were the known specs then. It runs Vista pretty well, but only ranks a 2.2 on the Windows performance scale, mainly due to the video card. That should be a simple upgrade later this year.

>Yes, that's the thinking. My current workhorse (which is not the one Vista is installed on) is only a year old. I like to keep them 3-4 years so it will be a while before I expect to upgrade.
