Hi Jim,

I just had lucent technologies recable my entire office building and certify 25 runs of CAT5 cabling. They say it is alright, but I am still getting the pesky "error reading file" I think #1104, I thought re-cabling would take care of that problem but no such luck. since my company switched to NTserver 4.0 from Novell 3.12 I've been having that problem. Do you think that these problems could be related? I replaced all NICs and patchcord to the workstations as well...still getting the "error reading file" error. I'm going to create another setup and reinstall. I have a NTserver at home for devp, which also is acting up just as my users machines at work are. I'm crossing every appendage that I have in hopes that this will fix the problem.

Let me know if you think of anything else!

Thanks again for your help.

John.
