I tried old InGrid once, and had only one remark: its use of between(char, "a", "z")... is locale dependent. I replaced that with isalpha(), so it would work with local codepage.

But then I didn't use it because I managed to roll my own incremental search thingy from fpd2.6 into an incremental search VFP grid.
