See, you are the best. That worked. Feeling dumb, I always thought controlSource had to be a reference to one DB field. Never thought it could be a an expression involving a DB field.

I thought "Poor culinary habits" (nasty diet: fried mozzarella sticks, Cinabuns...) would be fitting addendum to Larry Wall's list of programmer "virtues" hubris, laziness...
