I didn't say you made the comment about only being able to use VFP, but here's a quote from someone here:

"The markets are not the same. Most applications in Visual FoxPro are for business and for non-profit organizations. VB main focus was not on database development.

There are some here who don't hesitate to list their experience as only VFP, then procede to make comments like this. My knowledge tells me this is entirely wrong. I know many who do these types of apps without using VFP.

>>Funny...I was thinkin the same thing about comments such as yours and Walters.

>>You guys seem to think it's impossible to develop an app in anything other then VFP.

>I wonder what does it take people like you to read what is written. I've NEVER, NEVER implied that. But you guys are so quick to use that as an argument in your defence. Tssstssst....
>
>>I remember all the backslapping people were doing here when dotnet was first released. "Ohhh this will be great. Those who don't want to use/learn dotnet can come and learn VFP. The greatest language in the world!!!"
>
>Again, different animals. VFP shines on local data processing, being the most important reason for still using it. If you don't use it, it might be a different matter, but don't blame us for living it.

>>Didn't happen, did it? Wonder why that is?

>Nothing did happen yet. That still has to come. MS did not provide me with the best of tools I want yet. Until that day comes, I'm confortable with VFP as a main development platform. And yes other development will include a other languages like VB.NET, T-SQL, HTML, Javascript XML, C/C++ and even 3rd party scripting languages as found in Crystal Reports. But of course ignoring this is more convinient to you guys because that will enable you to slap us as FOX-Heads.
