I was never impressed with that certain person's books.
And for the record, there were several things in my book that I wasn't happy about. I won't go into reasons it turned out the way it did, because they're boring details and really don't matter. However, if I were to do it all over again, I would do it differently. And that's a decision I made before the book hit the shelves.
I can't comment on Kevin's book because I haven't read it.

I'm sure I'm missing something here, but I simply can't see many technical sound arguments from him anytime. BTW, I hate to mention this, but just ask your good old friend (I won't mention his name, or I'll get burned again) what he thinks about Craigs technical contribution and esspecially his book.
