>>Now that's the pot calling the kettle black. You admittedly have never used .net, but that doesn't stop you from making your absurd comments on its capabilities. We have all used foxpro and some of us have used .net for production apps, which gives us the qualifications to talk about it in relation to fox. Those who haven't used .net should refrain from making unfounded statements concerning its performance also.

>John, where do you learned to read?? WE ARE USING .NET up here in some limited ways. Absurd? I'm willing to argue on every technical aspect of it with you. (Lets see what you really know about programming)I've NEVER, NEVER seen you make any intelligent comment on it other than supporting your idols. No single analysis on the differences, advantages and disadvantages. Other than you single 'feeling' that this 'new technology' must be betten than proven ones.

>Others here, persist on using the 'New technology' argument to disqualify the others. It is simply pathetic and does not have anything to do with the capabilities of the tools, rather with trying to impress the others with a pile of humbug under the flag of 'New technology'.
I could give two craps about the differences and advantages or disadvantages. Its the tool I use to solve my particular client's needs. I don't argue semantical differences with you because its like teaching a pig to sing....
WE may be using .net at your shop, but I bet you don't, if you did, you wouldn't make your ridiculous assertions about .nets data handling.
