There is no community like VFP. However, the VB area is making big strides to improve it's community.

There are definitely .NET communities out there - they're just very different than the VFP community. Bottom line - if I have a question or want to strike up a dialog on a specific .NET topic, it'll only take a few emails or posts to get different answers/viewpoints from others. The .NET communities might not have all the color folklore or the personal stories, but it has everything that a developer ultimately NEEDS.
