>Not that it matters, but December 2002. I care about facts and truth; however, I'm more critical of the source. One man's opinion based on hearsay does not a fact make. Every time you're pressed on the depth of your .net experience, you weasel and then change the subject to one of your pet rants.

There is no need to weasel. I'm not a .NET developer, period...... No secret, never was a secret and never will be a secret. HOWEVER, YOU TOTALLY IGNORE THE EVALUATIONS BASED ON THE WRITTEN DOCUMENTATION BY MICROSOFT. You insist on trying to make a pig sing, while the documentation already indicates that it won't be suitable for doing certain things.

ADO.NET is not suitable for doing SQL post processing. Only some basic build in function to ease some of the pain. ADO.NET does not scale as it resides in memory. It is no match to the VFP local database engine and there is no person at MICROSOFT even denying this, but somehow you with all your experience think otherwise.... Again, you're trying to make a pig sing...

>So arguing with you is counter-productive. I just like pointing out the fallacies in your posts.

That would be productive, if you can find them... I doubt if you ever will be able to.
