Hi Pablo

Do you really think that MSFT has no idea of how many VFP developers there are in Latin America ?

In your eyes does a Developer = Licence ?

I am pretty darn sure its a simple query from the accounting system to see how many licences have been sold in latin america....

thanks
Rodman

>Of course they are. But I'm fully sure that Microsoft marketing didn't take in charge the real numbers. They seemed to be only focussed into the US market.

>>Loss of sales is always a calculated risk. I have seen products dropped where I work and in each case, management has calculated the risk of customers moving to competing products. Microsoft would have been stupid to not do the same. They probably have a very good idea of what those numbers are and still determined that the decision was worth it.
