Hi John, How? It is only available in the ctp, correct? Did I miss something? Has it been released? Is it now known to be reliable and safe? Ok, maybe I'm alittle sarcastic, but I really would have liked to have a mature version available when the announcement for the end of support of VFP was made public. I am looking forward to Linq and hope it meets our expectations and yes, even our hopes. I found this very interesting:
Q5. What languages have announced plans to support LINQ?

A5. [KF] Microsoft languages, support starting:
C# 3,
F# 1.1.8.1,
VB 9

A5. [KF] Microsoft languages, no plans to support:
C++/CLI

A5.  [KF] Microsoft languages, unknown:
IronPython,
Monad,
Spec#

A5.  [KF] Third-party languages, support:
Delphi (per http://blogs.borland.com/dcc/archive/2005/09/15/21195.aspx) [stale],
Nemerle (macros being developed per http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.lang.nemerle.devel/1257)
Phalanger 2.0 (PHP compiler for .NET, LINQ syntax per "PHP/CLR - Extensions
to the PHP Language in Phalanger 2.0", section 3.17 at
http://www.codeplex.com/Phalanger/Wiki/View.aspx?title=Documentation)
