Some months ago ( half december, the bug had to be removed before closure of the year <g> ) I was confronted with an application that had the source code on the spot. Actually, the server contained a VFP development version that ran the source code. So, I should've been able to find the bug, right? Not right, because a part of the source code was not present. (The APPs were present though.) The customer thought they had it all, but it simply was not true.

It is now many months later and they have still not been able to contact the original (North American) developer.

I immediately believe you when you claim that you've never experienced or caused any such problems. But are you sure that they'll also experience no problems if there's a force majeure?
