>>Ok but still it's your right to not agree with what some individuals said. In the past I did'nt agree with some of your positions. But that does'nt change the fact that I respect you a lot. And I could have different opinions than yours in the future.

>>To me this is a very sad that we won't have other major versions of VFP. It's not the end of the world. We'll just have to adapt. I just hoped data processing with VS.net would have been closer to the way we do it in VFP before they made that fatal announcement about VFP.

>I can see those points. On the other hand, some can counter that by saying that Microsoft has been saying for sometime that we should be looking at .Net and data handling is different there. That if we would have been more pro-active and learned .Net 3+ years ago, that it wouldn't be an issue now.

I waited and waited and waited before getting on the .net train for those reasons (data handling). LINQ should have been there from day 1. Anyway the time as come to really get serious about .net

I started some training on video. Cool stuff but .net is very demanding (processor and RAM).

The recent announcements from MS won't stop me from using VFP but I'll find more time for .net and less for VFP for my new projects.
