Michel, Some simple effects can be made from a frame with your graphic in it by starting with a width of 0 and increasing width while decreasing left. This will give an effect similar to a curtain opening. Top & height can be like an eye opening. And of course growing OS/2 style windows can be made from all 4 corners. ie top & left are constant while width and height are increased. Other methods can include moving the graphic inside the frame this can give the impression of movement from a window. longer images are better for this for obvious reasons.

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animated contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsel or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen."
~Samuel Adams
