I heard a lot of good things about LINQ but haven't checked it personally. And my personal position this early is that it will not be similar to how we do DM in VFP. So far, VS2005 + MM.Net can do the job for me as far as data manipulation is concerned. And if LINQ is great it will only be a plus factor I think. I only used VS version 1 and VS2003 as a stepping stones to learn C# language. I stopped for a while but resumed when VS2005 was released and so far we already deployed portion of our hospital system: LIS, RIS and HR. We are currently converting the big chunk of the hospital system: Billing + Accounting + Logistics.
