While I would agree with anybody who says that decision makers are overestimated for their expertise, in this case I'd suggest we shouldn't underestimate them. They actually do read some IT-papers and even a small article mentioning MSs announcement and nothing else is enough for them to draw the conclusion that "apparently Foxpro is dead". And that's all they think they need to know.
All extra mentioning in the press can only make them aware that there actually still IS a professional developer base. It all depends on MSs reactions.
