Vfp5 is quite different from Foxpro. The main difference is 'Oop', also it is one of the selling point. If you are still keeping a 'procedual programming' mind. Vfp can't improve you efficiency but increase the diffculty.

You ONLY use Vfp5 for 3 months. Did you ask yourself how much you knew about Vfp? The concept of 'Oop' is simple but it is hard to master. Don't think 3 months is a long time. I spent more than a year on it.

Learning a new concept is very hard. Giving up something which you have been used to (10 years were not a short time) will be upsetting. But, NO PAIN NO GAIN. Do you agree, don't you?

>I had coding DOS-FOX over 10 year, but in VFP50 just 3 months. I feel that i am poor in it, i take more 6-7 times of hours to finish a job as in DOS mode. (all the time run around in window, buttom, grid, call a sub-program from screen, back to screen from sub-program, enable this, disable that.......)
