Nope. That's pretty much word for word what has been posted before in threads on the same subject. Believe me, I *do* get it. You can't state that I don't understand based on my quoting what others has said is the issue here. O/R mapping has long been a problem. .Net doesn't get it. Java doesn't get it. Open Source doesn't get it. VFP may be closer to getting it than anything.

Good record and set oriented dml on all layers will help you create the ultimate flexibility to write highly (meta) data driven applications. VFP provides that transparancy over all layers. .NET (Currently) does not. In the latter, you'll have to use very different (propriatory and backward) techniques to handle the same data.
