Just use the same one. It should work fine as long as you do not ask it to work on data structures/functionality created after VFP 6.0
Obviously if you have more modern structures you might get some problems. :)

That's why OleDB is better. :)


[Update]: I see now your thread on VFP9 OleDb vs VFP8 OleDB.
I thought you were talking about using the old ODBC Driver. If it was about OleDB I see you already have the answers there from Borislav and Sergey.
