What would have happened if I lost my financial means to college because of some false accusations? What would have happened if I had my face plastered all over the TV for something horrible like this that I did not do?

Their families' wealth has nothing to do with whether they were falsely accused, and I didn't say it did. But I bet it has been put to extensive use "clearing" their names.
