Gloomy? No. Maybe allowing myself a healthy dose of cynicism.

It's probably that my mindset is not choosing between complying to corporate whims and playing Don Quixote. I'd rather beat my own path in another direction and avoid the imposed choices altogether. So I may come across as... well I don't know what, being unable to look at myself through anyone else's eyes. Even gloomy if you want.

Doesn't necessarily mean I feel like that. I'm not in the "beati pauperes spiritu" campus, to become sad when I realize a few nasty facts about how the game works. It worked the same few minutes before, so nothing's changed. Neither will my mood. Except occasional bitching about it :).
