I am not disputing what you say but that surprises me. I thought there were a bazillion VB developers. Have a lot of them stuck with VB 6?

Sure, there are a number of them. There are also Java and C/C++ developers. ;)

I know that a few are still in VB6.

At every session I give, I always do a show of hands of C# and VB.NET developers - it's pretty close, but usually a few more C# people.
