The code camps and user group meetings I've been to the numbers have been heavily skewed in the C# direction.

Here's an observation:

If someone posts a utility or library or block of code in C#....and VB.NET developers like the utility but want/need it in C#, a higher % will ask for a VB.NET version, when compared to the reverse scenario (a nice library in VB.NET where C# developers want it, but in their language).

The C# developers will surely grumble, but more are likely to convert it on their own, or use a conversion tool, or find some other way to use the utility.

That's not a value judgement, just an observation. Now, the VB.NET world has many fantastic programmers, I'm not coming down on the VB world as a whole.
