>>Hi, Tracy.

>>>Ok, we've had this discussion numerous times. The majority seem to decide that there are sufficient examples out there (on MSFT or the web or even installed solution examples) of simple, data handling apps from the ground up in vanilla VFP and dotnet.
>>
>>Well, we can really do this in UT Mag. I have a couple people interested, but many times they feel afraid of been blamed as VFP bashers if they to this kind of comparisons.
>>
>>Can we make a small hands-up count of people interesting in this? The final product could be slightly different than what you propose, but the general idea would be explaining how typical VFP stuff is done in .NET.
>>
>>How many interested people?

This is a 2 part article which i wrote for vb. this is in july n aug 2006 issue of level extreme .net

Martin was refering to me, bcos I thought that I can write a series of article covering vfp programmers moving to .net.

I also thought of 1st part doing comparison of Dbf to Sql server, in the sense that what are the similar features available and what is different.

But after discussng with Martin, I dropped the idea completely as I didn't wanted flood of emails in my mailbox.. but If response is positive and no controversies involved then i can write this series and post it on UTMag or Level extreme.

I'm not checking UT forum regularly but I will be in touch with Martin for this...
