Hi Piet:

The demo requires the vfp9 runtime. We know of issues between vfp9 and Vista, we are expecting the VFP9 SP2 which addresses those issues, we'll wait until it ships to fix any compatibility issue. The trouble you are experiencing could be something so simple as User permission or in the other hand a more complex issue...

You use the vfp9 runtime indirectly when you try data access or reference a possibly field: ie. ? someVar instead of ? m.someVar

We are readying for this month a new Compiler Preview, that won't use the VFP9 runtime neither for Data Access. This update will let you run your programs with Data Access even in other platforms like PDA's, Smartphones and Linux.
