The idea is to take a basic vfp data handling app, and see how it could be done (one of the ways anyway) in each language. Just viewing data, adding records, updating records, deleting records using Northwind in SQLServer or something similar. You don't like the idea? I don't see it as redundant because the idea is to give vfp developers an idea of how data handling could be done in both vb.net and c#.net. It may help them to decide which language to choose (if they are considering dotnet).
