vfp 3.0 win 95

Currently my date field size is set by the
date field setup of vfp. 07-27-98

Should we be concerned with the format of
the field? 07-27-98 vs 07-27-1998

Set Century shows four digit year, however
the actual date field only allows for two digit
year.

Is the date field format different in newer
versions of vfp? Does it allow four digit year
input?
