Thomas,

I work with many different companies who use C# and VB .NET...folks who use one tend to like it better than the other <g>. Whatever you do, I do NOT recommend using both (C# for business layer, VB .NET for UI). Every shop I've worked with that has done this regrets the decision. It's just too much of a pain in the neck to have to go back and forth between the two languages. You definitely want to pick one and run with it!

Personally, I prefer C# because you'll receive the most love from Microsoft (and not feel like "second best"). Microsoft uses C# internally to create the .NET framework and some features (both language and IDE) tend to make it into C# first before they make it to VB .NET.
