If you have memo displayed, you either did not add an editbox to the column or did not set the currentcontrol to the editbox.

unfortuantely you can only set one rowheight for all rows. The user can use the grid line at the bottom of the first row and resize it, as you can resize column width at the right gridline of a columns header.
