Do they know that now? I haven't heard any specifics. I have a friend from Bulgaria (married to an American) and she and her mom both attend classes there. She is okay and her mom is okay but her mom is stuck on campus due to the lockdown. It happened around 9:30 this morning.
We have high winds here today (40-50mph) and in the foothills the winds are topping 60mph so up in Blacksburg they have the same and they can't get helicopters in.
