You may want to use the Windows standard which is to assign an Alt-letter combination. You do this by putting \< before the letter in the button's caption that you want to assign a hot-key to. For instance, if you set the button's caption to E\
Of course, you need to be sure the hot-key isn't already assigned to something like a menu pad.

>Is there any way to have a function key as the hot key on a command button? I have some forms where the user is entering data and I want them to be able to hit a function key to save or launch a pick list etc. The idea here is for the user to not have to reach for the mouse because these are data entry forms and speed of entry is important.
