If your still getting this error after the update, some other things to check:
- Do not use quotation marks in the Setup Dialog Box Caption Box in step 4
- In step 6 do not use any of the following chars in the description for an icon: \/:*?"<>|+
- Be sure to delete the "\Vfp\Distrib" directory and all Dkcontrl.* after creating a setup that fails.
>I just went to get those and re-install in case they were corrupt. I am also using FOXEXPRESS (I'm new to this VFP stuff) and it does not like long file names so it is reasonably safe to assume there are none. I suspected there was some corruption, but I have recently wiped and reloaded to try to correct this error already. I get the same under Windows 95, NT and 98, but still no SETUP ERROR xxx.

not using any long file or folder names? BTW: There was an update to the Setup Wizard that was on the 5.0a CD, but not on the service packs. You can find it at the MS-VFP site in the owners area.
