>>>Less than 7 minutes of Meadow time...waaaah wahhh.
>>>
>>>Tonight on AME (or whichever network it is that's replaying Sopranos reruns), they showed the finale from Season 2 - when Tony figured out (from his Boardwalk dreams) that Big Pussy was the informant: so Tony, Paulie, and Silvio took him out on the boat and whacked him. That was when the show was in its hey-day....now it's more like dog-days. It's hard to care about a show when you no longer care about the characters. In Seasons 1-3, I wanted any of Tony's enemies to get whacked...now it's to the point where I'm rooting for a silly fat-man like Bobby B. to beat him up.

>>There are so many guys like you on the Sopranos chat boards. If someone isn't getting whacked the show bores them. I don't have a problem with the whackings but there is a heck of a lot more to the show than that. And I don't agree with you about it not being as good as it used to be. There are just fewer people being whacked. (Which I suspect will change soon).

>>Entertainment Weekly had a long article about The Sopranos a couple of weeks ago. In it James Galdolfini said he wished Big Pussy hadn't been killed because he thought he was a great character.
>>
>>Jeez, how many shows would even name a major character Big Pussy?
>>
>>PS -- The reruns are on A&E. Cleaned up, of course. They can probably squeeze hour long episodes into half hour time slots that way ;-)

>With all the commericals stuffed in there I'm suprised the 50minute episodes dont take 90.

I wouldn't watch them in that form. It's bastardization for money. Fortunately I have seasons 1-5 on DVD and will have season 6 when it comes out as a combined set.
