I still don't understand what you're saying. I guess someone writes a SQL in the command window, tests it, then wants to move it to the program to run as a string using macro. If that's the case, that someone needs to use TEXT/ENDTEXT construct and remove ; from the resulting string.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
